Meet and Greet

On Father's Day morning we went to Sacrament meeting with Grandma and Grandpa S. After a fabulous church meeting with Grandma and Grandpa, we went and met Daddy's family at Carbon Canyon Park in Brea California. We had a little trouble getting there. MapQuest took us 8 miles in the wrong direction. I got out Daddy's phone and used the free trial of the GPS and the lovely woman's voice on the GPS got us to the park. The main reason we went to the park was because we were meeting Uncle R's fiance's family (Aunt E).
We had such a great time. They are such an awesome family. From the moment I met them, it seemed as if we had known each other forever. Conversation was so easy, and there was never an awkward or dull moment. The kids all got along great. I never even saw Big Sister the whole day. She was having so much fun with Aunt E's brothers and sister. She especially LOVED her sister Camden. Camden was so sweet, and brought Big Sister a bracelet to kind of break the ice between them. Big Sister loved the bracelet and adored Camden. Aunt E's brother Max loves babies and played with the 3 babies all day. He was so cute. When we were leaving he said, "If you ever need a babysitter, I'll baby sit anytime." I wished we lived closer to them because I would gladly take him up on that offer. We ate, talked, walked, tried to play tennis, and fed the "fat" ducks. It was an awesome day and we hope that we will be able to get together with the McCuskers again.

Let me give credit where credit is due. These photos were taken by Elyse Powell
