{In the Kitchen Thursday} Valentines Rice Krispie Treats

My daughter's birthday is this Saturday and she wanted to bring treats for her class for her birthday!
I asked everyone on my page on Facebook what we should bring
And they suggested, Rice Krispie Treats!
So we went with that idea!
And with her birthday being so close to Valentine's Day, we made pink heart rice krispie treats, dipped in white chocolate with Valentine's sprinkles

Ingredients:
Rice Krispies
Butter
Marshmallows
Heart Cookie Cutter
Red Food Coloring
White or Milk Chocolate
Sprinkles

Directions:
Make rice krispie treats according to the directions on the box.  Add red food coloring to the melted marshmallows before adding the rice krispies.
Press rice krispie mix into a buttered 9x13 pan.  Cool for 10-15 minutes
Butter a heart shaped cookie cutter and cut hearts out of the treats
Melt the chocolate in the microwave for 10-15 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted.
Dip one side of the heart into the chocolate, place on a wax paper lined cookie sheet.  Immediately put the sprinkles on the chocolate.
Let the chocolate harden and then enjoy!
