Superhero Playdate Birthday Party Inspiration

The second week in February we basically have another Christmas happen in our family.  The twin's birthday is on the 11th, Big Sister is the 12th and my husband's birthday is on the 14th.  The boys are really into superhero's right now, so they are really excited to have a superhero birthday party.

My plan was to have a big birthday party every other year for the kids to give myself a little break.  Those big birthday parties are a lot of work, especially when you have to throw two in one week.  But, the kids are so excited to have birthday parties this year, I decided to have play date birthday parties.  Still fun for the kids, and less stress for this mom.

This week I've been looking on Pinterest for some inspiration for their superhero party!
I'm loving the vintage comic book look of this Superhero Birthday Party Invite

I really like these wrapped boxes that look like sky scrapers

With these fun capes, the kids can pretend to be Superman and Batman!

We'll play some superhero games like this one!

And also take home a star cookie!

  1. Pinterest will forever change the way of parties everywhere...one more way for moms to feel inferior! :) This looks like a blast! Hope they have a great time!

  2. I went to a superhero party that was fantastic! Each kid got a plain cape and mask and a superhero logo with the first letter of his/her name and little stars cut out of adhesive felt so they could each make their own superhero cape. Then they printed out pictures of superhero villains and taped them up outside and gave each kid a can of silly string so they could search around the yard and attack the villains with silly string. It was a 4 yr old party and the kids had a blast!
